    Foam & EPS Coatings

Our foam coatings have be formulated specifically to protect foam and polystyrene from the typical demands of film sets, including impact, abrasion, heat, fire and water. Our pure polyureas offer a high degree of impact and abrasion resistance, as well enough elongation (stretch) to cope with freeze and thaw when left outdoors. We offer different gel time variants of the same products to give different finishes, as well has having fire rated and non fire versions of the same product.

    In-mould Coatings

Our portfolio of products includes 6 specific in-mould coatings that produce a wide range of different end products. Ranging from a ultra rigid to ultra flexible, you can produce structural parts like rock face, stone, wood or semi rigid parts like body armour and weapons, flexible parts like faux leather, animal hide and faux fabrics. Moulds should ideally be made from latex or silicone, however polyurea can also be used to make moulds too.

    Finishing

All products, whether they are polyurea, polyurethane or a hybrid can be painted with most paints. Please follow the paint manufacturers guidelines for application, using primers where recommended. Our products can be sanded, drilled and bonded for further fixing or finishing. 2K polyurethane paints are ideal, as they form a chemical bond to the polyurea when applied soon after the coating has been sprayed, as well as having robust flexible qualities that move with the PU.

    Need an applicator?

We are often asked if we can apply our coatings for customers, however we feel that this would be directly in competition with our customers, and therefore don't offer that service. We have many independent applicators that are highly experienced and can offer in-house or on-site spraying of polyurea. To find out more, please call us and we can match you to an applicator that will be able to help.
