  • In Mould Linings - Armour, Weapons & Shields

Our in mould coatings and linings enable you make complex and detailed moulded items time after time. With quick de-mould times, multiples of items can be made in rapid succession, making it ideal for supplying volume pieces to films. Elastoline 7420 and Elastoline 7430 are used extensively to make armour, weapons and shields, where rigid and semi flexible versions are needed.

In Mould Linings - Rock, Stone, Wood & Natural Items

Elastoline 7446FR and 7448FR are rigid in mould coatings, used extensively to make rock, stone, brick, wood and other structural parts. Elastoline 7446FR is certified class 1 fire retardant to BS476 part 7. Both coatings can also be used to hard coat foam and EPS.

In Mould Linings - Faux Leather, Animals Skins & Fabrics

Our most flexible in mould coating, Elastoline 7440, was formulated for making faux leather when sprayed into a silicone or latex mould 4-5mm thick, or animal skins and fabrics when sprayed circa 1mm. Primarily a coating that is sprayed into moulds, this coating can also be applied to upholstery or memory foam to make soft flexible padded items too. Elastoline 7440 can also be used to make moulds that vastly out live silicone and latex.

In Mould Linings - Tree Bark

Our semi-flexible coating Elastoline 7850 has an extended gel time that allows it to fill and wet out a mould, taking the intimate detail of every type of tree bark. One cured and de-moulded, the sheet of bark remains semi-flexible, allowing it to be wrapped around structures formed to the shoe of a tree.

    Finishing

All products, wether they are polyurea, polyurethane or a hybrid can be painted with most paints. Please follow the paint manufactures guidelines for application, using primers where recommended. Our products can be sanded, drilled and bonded for further fixing or finishing. 2K polyurethane paints are ideal, as they form a chemical bond to the polyurea when applied soon after the coating has been sprayed, as well as having robust flexible qualities that move with the PU.

    Need an applicator?

We are often asked if we can apply our coatings for customers, however we feel that this would be directly in competition with our customers, and therefore don't offer that service. We have many independent applicators that are highly experienced and can offer in-house or on-site spraying of polyurea. To find out more, please call us and we can match you to an applicator that will be able to help.
