Decks & Pontoons
Working with pontoon manufacturers around Europe, we have ensured EPS cores remain water tight and buoyant prior to concrete encapsulation. Pontoon boat decks and similar craft have also benefited where high foot traffic areas need greater protection than gel coat alone.
Narrow Boats
Traditionally coated in Bitumen, the base plate of a narrow boat needs re-coating every 2-3 years, making it a costly exercise requiring a crane, dry dock, coatings and labour. Polyurea has proven to be the best long term solution, with only one coat needed with an indefinite life span.
Commercial Vessels
Like many pieces of equipment, commercial vessels are worked hard in relentless conditions, making it difficult for most coatings to perform. Polyurea is now a "go to" solution for many boat owners due to its extreme physical properties, with fenders and whole hulls being coated to protect against impact and abrasion. Our coatings are regularly applied to pilot craft, fishing boats, tenders and ferries.
Need an applicator?
We are often asked if we can apply our coatings for customers, however we feel that this would be directly in competition with our customers, and therefore don't offer that service. We have many independent applicators that are highly experienced and can offer in-house or on-site spraying of polyurea.
